The beginning of my armor setup. I know the norm is to paint them black. So what color should I do these in? Has to be a color I can easy fix, readily available, and inexpensive. I know it all points to black :) I was looking at the Rustoleum Hamnered line, anyone has experience with that rattle can paint?

A lot of crap and too much money spent
I use Rustoleum bed liner on my sliders. I would suggest it as well, because it has some grip instead of just paint. I painted mine with black paint the first time around and when those babies would get wet they were slicker then dog shit on a wet lawn.

Or add some grip tape to the sliders once you're done painting them the color of choice.

I don't have any weight on my truck right now and the heavy pack still feels good to me over the little unpaved part of my daily drive.

And then you can load a pallet of sod no problems

Not enough to have a build thread.
I used satin black rattle can. Looks good. But I second what @CalTacoma09 said. Either the bed liner stuff or grip tape

Didn’t they seem like the most unlikely people to be driving that FJ? I mean if I saw them in a grocery store never would I have imagined them climbing into that set up. But yes they spent a bundle on that lift and their FJ!

So what should I do with these Donahoe Racing coilovers
The guy I got them from said they were for a 2nd gen, but they obviously aren't
However they are the exact same length as a set of 1st gen I have,
I'm thinking he tried putting first gen coilovers on his 2nd gen

How many set of coil overs do you have 2? Donahoe and sway away is what I remember. I would keep one and sell the other.

I would guess if you rebuild, you could get that rust off the shock body and sell for more. look nice and fresh rebuild.

I think if you're inactive in the thread for a certain amount of time it stops alerting you. Super annoying.
