209 TACOS - B/S and shenanigans

Thanks brother. I figure everyone runs black tube bumpers. Wanted to go a different direction.

 

Hopefully the turn signals I ordered are going to fit the way I think they will. According to the dimensions, they should fit right in the triangle.

 

So here's how it turned out.

Maybe today. Depends on how bad pressing the bearings goes.

 

One last look at the old truck. It'll never look the same again.

Definitely. Actually went really well. No real problems.

I'm not 100% happy with how the lights ended up mounting. I'll probably move them closer together. Right now it's hard to get the covers on and off.

 

The new bearing should be shipping tomorrow.

 

@foxrcing07... I'm also starting to have second thoughts about doing a Spartan locker. I think I may just leave it open in front and wait till if/when I can afford to do an ARB or Harrop. It's not that hard to remove the diff later for a locker.

Question of the day... Do I really need a front locker so bad I do a lunch box locker?

What do you plan on doing for trails that you need a front locker? Don’t get me wrong I think it would be cool to have one. But it’s not that high on my list.

 

I'm wanting to be able to go anywhere... Lol... No, I just figure it's a good time to do it cause the diff isn't on the truck yet. But I think I'm just going to pass on it for now. It's not worth it to put in a lunch box just to turn around and do a selectable later on.

I would wait/do the rear first

 

I already have a rear locker.
