    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
My LED bar (42 inch roof) and chase lights got here today.

Jen says we are going to have to sing "O'Christmas tree" when we drive the truck.

What's up everyone. New-ish to the site and liver here in the 209. Born and raised in Escalon. Used to have a 4Runner, but got my first ever truck in November (2019 TRD OR DCLB). I do a lock of backpacking/adventuring and wanted a rig I could use to get to trailheads and add a little variation to the adventure. Heading out to Utah In June but hoping to get a little more familiar with truck before then. Anywhere you guys normally wheel at in the 209? I usually spend a lot of time "up the hill" but since I've never been big in the wheeling scene, I just know fire service roads etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Nice to meet everyone!

I hit fire/service roads and call it wheeling :anonymous:

Frank Raines is a good local OHV park for you to explore. La Grange too but its alot smaller (but may be closer).

Different places to go, if you are wanting a nice trail that isn't to hard Baltic ridge or corral hollow trail are nice.

    Welcome! Enjoy your truck.

As far as places to wheel, try getting a hold of a forest service map for any of the forest you most frequently go to. They’re usually pretty good at labeling the roads as 4wd if they’re good for wheeling. Try not to explore out there alone though could be a long walk back for help. Good luck!

No worries, like I said, was born and raised in the area, so i know this group is most likely a bunch of dirtbags! Haha

The truck came with sema wheels and pro comp xtreme tires. I added Bilstein 6112/5160s w/AAL and JBA UCAs. I also got SOS sliders that I haven’t mounted yet and a BAMF low-pro bed rack for my tepui. Got a hitch mount skid on the way and the next mods will be skids I’m sure!

I’m finding out that my ideas of mod costs are different than they actually are! My dumbass thought I was going to do a full suspension upgrade for under $1000 installed. I’ve learned a lot on this site to say the least!
