Also have a door from a base regular cab manual window with glass and mirror. Has a fold where it meets fender. No damage to the structure, only the flap of skin is folded. Free as well.

I hardly ever use mine, but it’ll be a handy spot for switches.

Will my stock 3rd gen OR with sliders and wildpeak 265/75/16 make that trail without damage?

@nDub. I believe, is the only one of us that has done the trail. That's why I'm wanting to go up and find out.

    I’d walk it first.

Good driving and you could do it. Thin margin for error in some spots.

The first 1/4 to 1/2 mile will be a good reference for how hard the trail is.

    That’s pretty good.

There are bypasses which is what what show.

Lots of backing up to find the right line.

Cool he did it with a four door long bed!

    Definitely need sliders though.

Yeah, i often regret my Limo and am in a constant debate about trading it in for a 3rd gen, just to lose 1ft of truck/wheelbase lol.

So this guy took a buncha bypasses? I was unsure about giving this trail a whirl without lockers, bumpers would be nice but... those things add up to like 5 grand, which i wouldnt wanna dump into my truck if im debating downsizing. (regardless, those wont come until after the truck is paid off so, i got time to figure it out)

    :annoyed:

A lot of crap and too much money spent
I love my long bed, I don't do many tight trails because of the wheelbase but I do love having the extra foot in the bed when I need it for the things that I do more often. (Hauling crap, camping and hopefully drifter some day with the extra foot of space in that setup.

Originally i wanted an ACLB but i was impatient and overwhelmed purchasing my first new vehicle. It was like i pushed a boulder down a hill and it wasnt gunna stop until it landed in my driveway. Live and Learn lol

I had wanted the longer bed so that me and the GF could sleep back there, but recently that just hasnt been working (im too tall for us BOTH to fit back there) so now im considering RTT's and Drifters, starting to eye up this "trail running" business that i originally never intended to do. So im a little bit all over the place with this.

but, like i said, i wont be making any large purchases for a few years while i pay off debt and save up to flee this state.

new suspension to replace my old, worn out stock shit (we did that) and some skids are where im trying to stop.... but its hard, oh so hard lol

I was up there the other day and the gate keeper creeped me out. No way I was going to go by myself with little if any true off road experience. Maybe I'll pass this time.
