209 TACOS - B/S and shenanigans

My house must be on some solid ground. Didn’t feel a thing. Parents felt it up the hill though, near Twain Harte.

 

We ran out

 

Felt it in Crystal Falls/Sonora Meadows.

 

Well that was a fun bit of wheeling. I think we did 1/2 the trail. Apparently the “you can’t take a Tacoma up this” end of the trail. Bollocks! Thanks to some strategic rock moving and most excellent spotting the Canarymobile made it out mostly unscathed. Good times.

Where’d you guys turn out?

Make it to lions butt? Or the rock pile?

First part is pretty fun. The rest of the trail is more of the same.

 

We turned out at 5N09. Not sure of any of the names of things. All I know is we definately did Hard Brake Hill... Or, at least I hope we did, or the real one is serious pucker factor.

 

Haha. Yeah it’s right after the weird off camber section and the tree roots climb.

Bummed I missed it!

There were quite a few people up at the rock pile apparently rock crawling. It’s always cool to go check out the buggies.

 

Yesterday I was on call so I had to stick around town. Got my wiring done on my drawer, I have 3 switches to control lights and sink pump power. The switches illuminate blue so they are easy to see at night. I still need to add rubberized drawer liner which will cover the wires in the bottom of the drawers. This thing is finally almost done.

 

There were some tight spots where you had to make a three point turn but it wasn’t bad.

 

Anyone want to part with their unpainted wheel opening molding set? Curious what take offs are selling for.
