    Took my brother camping up there last year...... the 60 degree air blowing out of the shaft was extremely eery and very cool at the same time. Not sure if it was the elevation change that was messing with us too, but we stopped at the chemung site first and as we starting exploring, we just felt a weird vibe around us.... pretty surreal. Not one to believe in spirits and such, but there is sooooo much history out there, makes one wonder.

    We ended up camping on a cliff overlook farther up from chemung, and it really is crazy how many random shafts are around there. Bodie is also super neat. Wouldn’t mind going back again this year.
