I still have a CB in my 1st gen, but that is because a lot of friends (non-tacoma having) of mine still use CB

Yeah HAM is the way to go, it will reach really far as well if needed. The HAM Cram isn’t bad, good group of guys.

In one week there’s an Overland Bound meet up, I’ll be showing off my drawer :)
Plus we will be discussing the next trip to Plumas NF in 2 weeks. I’ve done like 9-10 trips now and everyone is always super cool. Easy track, nothing crazy, but fun.

@Pella just got his CMC done. It looks like it was done REALLY WELL. I think he had Milo do it, but I'll let him give specifics.

And this dude is in Ceres. He does good work. I think @CalTacoma09 has had some work done there.

Anybody been to caswell campgrounds? Gonna meet some friends there later this month, is it boring or is there things to do besides sit in camp? Or any dispersed areas near there?

i havnt been there in probably 10 years (its 10 minutes down the road from me)

but from what i remember, its pretty lame lol

cool for kids, river runs right along the campsites, alot of knee deep water to play in... but thats about it. Its surrounded by private (farmers) land and if i remember right there is absolutely zero dispersed anything (some walking trails along the river is about all there is)

bring lots of beer and earplugs.

Nothing comes to mind other than small parks similar to caswell

Pretty much everything out here is owned by farmers, you gotta get on either side of the valley to get into public land or anything more than a local fishing hole/couple of acres of forgotten land.

Think i might make them drive up from Fresno. But my favorite brewery is down there... Tioga Sequoia gen.sherman is a great camping beer.

Lots of camping out of shaver lake area. Is that too far? Just east of Fresno.
