209 TACOS - B/S and shenanigans

End up going with 650# or 700#?

 

650#... I think 700# would be stiff.

Rides nice and doesn't dip in corners (at speed) nearly as much as it used to.

 

I need to get some new front suspension soon. Going to get new UCA and LCA next week first though

went out to Signal Peak yesterday. Good fun and froading. I put a couple of tiny, tiny scratches on the truck and certainly used the new IFS skid. Thanks @Twizted @FirstTimeFirstGen @CalTacoma09 @Goobersbro for spotting and stacking.

We had 12, lost one due to power steering loss, another guy from Florida bugged out after a flat tire and being concerned on the trail. One guy Pat, whom I met a couple times at our meetings, came and brought an awesome JKU on 35’s and tows his Patriot Campers trailer. Not only is his rig stunning but he’s paralyzed from the waist down. He rolled around each campsite in his wheel chair setting up his trailer, cooking food, and starting fires. He lifts himself up into his lifted Jeep, then pulls up his chair and disassembles it to fit in the front seat. He uses hand controls similar to a motorcycle and wheeled everywhere with ease. Honestly it was humbling to get to know him. He’s also Veteran and tells some hilarious campfire stories.
All in all pretty epic trip

 

I seriously need to make it out on one of these trips with you.
