This is pretty much just to hold me over until I put a bumper on and build the back out a bit. Hoping to get most of that done before spring and then Deaver it up. Big thanks to Matt and Robert you guys are awesome.

Any of you ancients still ski? I'm headed up to Kirkwood on Monday. Join me for some antics on the slopes. Come out and laugh your head off as I take to the slopes for the first time in 25 years.

 

I don't know what's worse, people going out in the snow to ski, or the fact that I thought you meant waterskiing.

Just had a small heart attack. At the car wash been waiting for my Betty to be pulled around and 15 min later she still wasn’t out front. I look up and see a cement Tacoma driving away, “WTF”. I got up and started waking fast, about to run when I looked around and saw Betty in the back. No one puts baby in the corner.

 

Finally got around to installing the grill. Damn it’s funny how a cheap piece of plastic can just make a Tacoma. Should have been standard but the Pro being barely an upgrade compared to say a F150 vs a Raptor I can see why Toyota Marketing reserving the grill for TRD Pros only.

 

Overland Bound meeting tomorrow in Ripon at Mountain Mike’s 1-3pm. Come if you wanna check it out, I’ll be there. Good people, they’ll be planning out winter and spring trips.

 

I’m hoping to be there, but I’m going to have to take my wheels off and clean everything. We got MUDDY today.

 

You will be fine! I did this a number of years back, had not skied in 23 years, put my two boys into their first snowboarding class, wife decides to take snowboarding lessons too...Me, I figure I'm better off trying to ski again instead of spending the weekend on my ass. Turned out to be a great choice, was almost like I never left. My boys are on double black diamonds now and I'm still having fun on skis.

Just washed my truck AGAIN! I’m sitting outside the car wash waiting to drip dry a bit and I can still see muddy drops coming from underneath. I’m just hoping I got everything out of the wheels this time.

 

I didn’t fair too poorly. Got the really bad part near the passenger front wheel at the boat ramp, by driving into the water.

I’ll get the rest after 9er game. Or maybe before if I get the ambition.

 

If it doesn't rinse off, Jen's already planning on making a new one
