Those of you with rifle cases on your roof rack, how did you secure them? Bolt through the case and into/going below the roof rack?

    Some really cool shit
I have the PRINSU. I drilled holes in the bottom of the case and then fitted it to the rack via carriage bolts and big fender washers.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Yep... Drilled holes in bottom of the case. Used fender washers inside case. Bolt down, with drilled flatbar to hold to the crossbar of the rack.

drilled through the bottom of the box with the bolt head in the slot of my front runner rack with thick pieces of metal and silicone to the inside bottom of the box for strength and moisture seal.

Thanks man! One of these days I'm going to open my own wizarding school or possibly start a cult. Still haven't decided.

    Look at this contraption:)

I moved so I built a pergola looking hoist to take my rack and tent off as one unit. @Sharkfrog did a stellar job taking my old set up down and I reused 100% of the cables and pulleys so I can outfit my truck without busting a vertebrae.

I got a guy Randy who has a home shop who did mine in Manteca. He mostly rock crawls and dropped a Corvette V8 into his little modded Jeep. Did a great job and cool dude. Cash pay

He also does diffs, put 488’s in my son’s TJ, said he can do Tacoma diffs as well96F8363E-94FA-461F-B232-C9C9427E56CF.jpg

Let him know I said hi

@CalTacoma09 had shock relocations done by a dude in Ceres. I think it was UpNorth Innovations. I'm sure he could do a CMC as well.
