ALSO - I'm a happy camper...all of my fill/drain plugs, gaskets, and reboot kit came just in time! I should have everything I need for the repairs @Uphillshunter!

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Forecast is calling for most of the rain to be in the afternoon, and later... By that time we should be in good shape, and in the areas I know as well as I know my own house. Shouldn't be a big problem.

About to get started lifting the ‘03 Tundra. Question for you guys. Should I just go rent a tie rod puller from the auto store or can I bash the upper ball joint stud out with a BFH. This is different then my 2nd gen but the same as a 1st gen. Putting SPC uppers on

Thank you. So far no luck at O’Reilly’s or Autozone. Today’s gonna be fun :)

*Oops for some reason I read that as a tie rod end not a ball joint... You can ignore this advice until you need to pull a tie rod :D

This is the method I’ve used:
    75B3B28F-7008-4AE2-8F9F-AB571067F7B0.jpg

So just to be clear you don’t hit the tie rod you hit the knuckle (or pitman arm in some cases). A few really good wacks usually works.

Today was a good day. Wrenching on trucks, with friends, is always a good day.

Had some unexpected events... but worked it out. Made the day last a bit longer than expected.

No... just something that's probably going to cost me 5x what the radiator did.

But one of the best things about Jen is...

She's a firm beliver in... If you break shit, buy better shit.

I couldn't have just gone out and bought better coilover just because... but now there is a reason to.

I wont know how bad it is, really, till I pull it off.

Which is going to be interesting... if the shaft is broken that could get sketchy.
