I sent an email to the to the SNL about the road closures that expired yesterday. No new road closure alerts on the website, only updated campground closures.

Went on a little drive today in the Tacoma and accidentally did some wheeling. Wanted to go from cottonwood road to crab tree road but on the east side of the clavey. It was all good until I hit *3n26...

I need to go back with the heeep. Definitely saw some good trails...

Later after crossing the clavey I put it in 4lo with the elocker just to try it and saw some cars on the same road...

I will also add that it was a much more pleasant experience (With 35psi) then I get in my other rig at 15 psi... it’s time to put my lift on the Tacoma.

There is also a parade of rock crawlers headed up 108. Must be going to Niagara. It’d be fun to go up and watch them play.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    5N26?

I don't think there is a 5N026... 5N26 is up by Mill Creek Campground above Bumblebee.

3N26 would be one of the roads you can use to get from Cottonwood to Crabtree. You would turn off 3N01 on 3N94 to 3N26

We should do another run back there. No bridge on the clavey so a fun water crossing.

I'm totally down for another run back there. @Sharkfrog @2BeersPlease and I made it all the way back to Crabtree from Cottonwood, a week or two after we tried it.

There's a bridge over Clavey WAY back on 3N29... couple cool places to camp there too.

The only place Ive ever seen a bear was off the clavey river trail years ago above the bridge. Was a mom and two cubs. 1N01 I believe is the road. But that was like 14 years ago. I just see poo n footprints these days.

There was yesterday. There is a big flat area upstream of the crossing that had three or four groups camping in and another group up by the Y.

Still fun and a good time.

Yeah, that sandy beach a little bit upstream is where i was headed.

Guess I'll need to explore a little to get away from the humans.

Keep going past there and I only saw one guy on a quad and some loggers way back towards Cottonwood.

Not sure about water though for swimming or fishing.

Anyone have any suggestions on quick side trips? Neat or unusual places? Any experiences with this route I need to be aware of?
