No. I replaced the radiator and havn't had a problem since. Although this entire year has been so fucked up, I haven't been to the mountains even half as much as normal.

The transmission cooler in the back was more preventative than dealing directly with my engine coolant overheating issues.

Said we were going to get 30 nights of camping in this year. We're at 14(?). Don't see 30 happening either.
Said we were going to run Slick Rock and the Rubicon. Those definitely aren't happening. Have some misc things I want to get done first.
    This year sucks.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I have spent ZERO nights camping this year. Looks like our first night camping this year will be September 16th, in Utah, on the way to Colorado.

Between froading and scouting for hunting, I've normally banked over 25 nights of camping by this time of the year.

    @MattJakobs

    Ya... I wanted to do
    Slick Rock
    Corral Hollow
    Signal Peak
    Deer Valley
    Bald Mountain
    This year...
That didn't happen. Don't think it will happen. As soon as we get back from Colorado, hunting season will take us in to the first of November.

I'm going to make a point of planning next year over this winter. (Not like this year really lent it's self to being able to be "planned")

At least you have a kick ass trip planned.

You forgot the Rubicon on that list. :boink:
Guess you'll have to add it to next year's list

I've gone on a couple trips and probably would have done a few more if my body would cooperate. Starting new meds as soon as my insurance can pull their head from their asses and figure shit out, so hopefully that'll get me back to semi-normal. The downside is I get to be immune-suppressed through the rest of this covid junk.

I wanted to do Rubicon this year. But didn't really have confidence I was equipped for it. I should be able to add that to next year's list.

Lol... just sitting here at work thinking how I want to "plan" next year... And remembered there's a good possibility what ever I plan could very well be changed by things that may be in the works here.

Monday will be 3 weeks since it was prescribed. They almost had it figured out and I was supposed to receive it in the mail today, but they called me yesterday and for some reason my insurance deleted the doctors pre-authorization sending everything back to square one.

My sisters friend who is part of Spec Ops 160th mentioned those tanks were most likely headed for Sierra Army Depot near Herlong CA. The army is upgrading some of them to M1A2 varients so they can keep up with China's and Russia's main battle tanks.

Well... I was kinda bummed that we had to postpone our trip, because it would cause us to miss the opening weekend for General Season Deer/Bear.

Now it looks like it may not to cause us to miss anything.

Our rulers sure have been getting friendly with the idea of closing shit this year.

Think it will happen less often in the future?

70+ years of fire suppression via Smokey the Bear and logging suppression ain't gonna fix anything soon.

    Fug you Smokey!
