A lot of crap and too much money spent
Finally, hit the 500 mile marker for breaking in the new gears. Time to change the fluids again and put the skids back on.

Looks like no one going to be at Oakdale this morning. I'll be going straight to Sonora Speedway and then.

Oakdale is a little qays out of the way.

Second thought... looks like no one else is going.

I've got shit to do around the house (that I was going to put off) I guess I'll do that and go to the mountains next week.

It is possible to wheel solo. For me it's not only possible but also more enjoyable. lol

I'm out for two reasons. One it's really far when I can be at local trails in 7 minutes. Two, my rig needs some welding love and a new rear driver shock tower that should be here Thursday.

I know it's possible. But I would have been putting off things that need to be done anyway.

Well... I put a first coat of sealer on one of the countertops.

    20210424_145730.jpg

Between 1st and 2nd coat I was able to help my buddy @foxrcing07 go get an axle.

    20210424_131237.jpg

Ended up getting a set of (heavy duty) Cevy 63s for 20 bucks while I was at it

    20210424_150215.jpg

I guess that decides what I'm going to do for rear leafs. Glad to get the 5 plus overload. Gives me a bunch of different combinations to figure out what's best ride/payload.

Although probably not advisable with an aluminum dif* cover...

14 bolts are not known to be ground clearance friendly. Maybe go up to 40's? lol
