    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

We got the brakes done on @essjay. Bedded the rotors, everything seemed smooth. Took a bit longer than we ere hoping, but it's just the way things go sometimes.

So glad to hear it’s done! If it was me I’d say fuck it and keep two different calipers. LMK if you can add me to that group chat :)

Yeah, I'm just going to clean off and repaint the driver side one with black caliper paint at some point, so they at least match visually.

Tractor supply, 50 bucks each... didn't seem like a bad deal.

Ready for Teakettle Junction. We'll decorate with paint pens, in camp, the evening before we arrive at the junction.

Anyone in San Joaquin County interested in getting their Concealed Carry Weapons permit?

My uncle has been a firearms instructor for years and years in the Sacramento/Placer County areas and hes looking to expand. (retirement must be boring huh? lol) His classes are typically self-defensive in nature and not your average/tactical "civilian soldier" stuff you see advertised on youtube...

Not that i discourage that at all. Wear your plate carrier to the range, do mag drills on the firing line, i dont give a shit...

So he got his certs for San Joaquin County (not Stanislaus... yet) and wants to run a couple courses down here. Im going to be headed up to his place in May for my CCW class, but since he called and asked i figured id see if i could round up some friends who are interested and try to help him get his foot in the door down here. Maybe try to setup a *discounted* class over the summer.

@Andres - sorry for not tagging you when I posted. The horns are still looking great. The red has faded a bit, but that was to be expected. Thanks for a great cosmetic mod for our Tacos.

Well... So, I was looking for a spare set of fuel injectors to send off to get serviced, for my son's 4Runner.

Figure, that way we don't have a dead horse down, while we wait for them to get back.

Found a set of fuel injectors :anonymous:

Be careful out there guys, my catalytic converter just got stolen this Friday night while I was at work. This happened in Manteca btw. The quote I got was $1500 for the one that was stolen.
I’ll probably bite the bullet unless anyone has any recommendations?

That’s a shame, I live in Manteca and am always paranoid about this sorta stuff… especially since I can’t “defend my property with deadly force” in CA.

Would insurance be a better route?

Think we finally figured out my kids 4runner.

Replaced the fuel injectors from the spare motor I've got. Found, the previous owner had replaced the injectors with best we can tell, either Chinese crap off Amazon, or O'Reilly's... they weren't the brown OEM for sure. Figured we would start there.

While he had the plenum off he decided to check the temp sensor... ya, it was nearly broken in half... so we grabbed the temp sensor off the spare motor too.

Everything seems to be happy now. Starts right up, idles right about where it should.

    We'll :fingerscrossed:

I’m planning an overnighter to the Clavey River in Stanislaus National Forest off of 3N01 April 16-17. Just exploring the Forest roads in the area for camp sites near the river and tributary creeks. I have some candidates mapped out from google earth and the MVUM. Likely some residual snow and downed trees to contend with. Recon for spots I can get my trailer to with my wife a few weeks later. Let me know if you’re interested.

Not in 209 but can definitely ship for cheaper than gas price for pick up.

These items are BNIB. Sold the vehicle, no longer have a use for them.

Should fit all the following vehicle with a 1MZ-FE 3.0 V6 engine:
    97 to 01 Toyota Camry v6
    99 to 03 Toyota Solara v6
    97 to 99 Toyota Avalon v6
    97 to 01 Lexus ES300 v6

Free or it will be trash. Torque strut mount, front brake pads, and hydraulic timing tensioner. $15 ship *will ship without box package* to you or pick up in Sanger, CA 93657

You still planning on doing this? My son has been asking me to take him camping so this would be a nice little overnight trip.
