I’d be down for that if 1) it isn’t covered in haze 2) if I have enough time to drive there. 7+ hours seems kinda much lol

A lot of crap and too much money spent
Plumas NF wasn't bad (Smokey) and I hear that gold lake 4x4 campground is open again.

Don't know if "road should be open by now" meant anything.

Yeah i will never go camping on a holiday, in fact, i dont even like to leave my house on holidays lol

I usually try to go 2 weeks before memorial day, two weeks before 4th of july, and two weeks before labor day. That would be my typical summer camp schedule. That has changed, now i only go camping "during or right after a storm" lol

Sorry been MIA for a bit, Marlin is making weld on sliders again 60-70-80 options I just put some on my truck 2 weeks ago and I'm very happy with them. Weld on > bolt on.... bolts can break sooner than welds either way they can be taken off if you no longer want them and with a weld you just grind flat vs having holes in your frame also you have the weight of extra plates and hard wear, that's just my opinion. Ive already "used" my sliders a bunch on my last trip up and I'm very happy with them. They have a rear kick out that did exactly what I needed it to do when I was trying to make an extra tight turn.

    Price is reasonable too.

Have any pictures of them on your truck?

ya ill post some up.... I only had 3 of the 5 mounts welded on in the parking lot picture, I actually went up with only 3 and had no issues banging them around and dropping on them hard, I'm very happy with how beefy they will be with all 5 mounts.

Anyone looking at going toward Tahoe soon?

May need a TW Express to get my coils up there. With hunting season so close, it's not a good time for me to try to make a trip up that way.
