20's vs 18's

I really am tossing and turning over this one. I really love the way 20's look but I would rather have the truck ride and fuction properly. Well I have a 2wd db long bed. I most heavy duty thing I do with it is pull my 19' flats boat. I do take long trips when I tow mostly down to the keys and back which is about 8 hours each way. Soo I am making this to really figure out if I can justify stepping up to 20's or going with 18's. Right now I have the OME kit on order so I should be right around a 3" lift. Not looking to go anything bigger then a 33.

i think 18s, or smaller

 

A 33 on a 20" wheel will have almost the same height sidewall as your factory wheels and tires had.

 

17's for me...sorry. I hate phat rims yo.

Honestly I think 16's are too large, I'd rather have 15's. Dubs on trucks look retarded, not to mention you're degrading the performance at high cost...

 

i have 18's on a 275/70/18 (33.5") 20s just dont look right unless its a 35

Smaller is better. You have any idea how much tires cost for 18's and 20's?

my 20" toyo open country's didn't cost any more than a set of 17's would have

 

6 to 7 inches of sidewall is all you need imo

 

17's on 33's=8"sidewall
20's on 33's=6.5"sidewall

Well to be honest money is not an issue I want something that looks nice and I was worried that 20's might be to big but looking at Phantoms 20's on his truck it looks amazing.
