I had backwards post this morning, right now I've got grayscale on 3rd gen threads and crooked posts wherever I put anything up. I'm loving it

Here’s the greyscale on my side. Look at the site header especially. No other thread looks like that

I think it's only B&W in the 3rd gen section

Confirmed. Went through a bunch more threads all over the site and seems to be just 3rd gen. Although, doesn’t explain backwards boy over in the regions general

Looks like anything 3rd gen is greyscale as mentioned by @304_Taco. My posts will also spin from side to side sometimes but eventually stop. That or something was in those cookies. o_O

    Happy April Fools!

Top header pictures are hand drawings, not photos, too.

Did not even notice the header drawings. Was busy checking my eyeballs for injury in the bathroom

@20tacoma17 awesome little build you got going. I made it through the first few pages before this all distracted me and I realized I was going blind apparently

Thanks. First one is done and mostly a working Minime to putt around. 2nd one I'm working on now is an Overland Wide body for actual crawling.

So was the first just scale model but now you’re building like an RC version? Didn’t get that far in comments if it’s mentioned. I have a good friend that does scale model and scale RC stuff. Super cool

Both are RC but the new one is full blown Rock Crawler with all the things.

As posted above, both are RC. The Minime was my 1st attempt to see if I could do it. Had to get too many custom parts made, or make, to bash it around so I'm building a second one for that.

Those were done by the mods’ kids.

    They’re of Ridgelines.

The 3rd Gen forum is getting pranked HARD today. Love it!

I don’t know the mods so I won’t say what I think of the van...er ridgeline drawings... but I support staying the hell away from the 2nd gen forum. We have stuff to do!

Nice progress. I’m still sanding mine :anonymous:. What servo did you go with for switching from high to low?

Yep, lots of sanding and filling with primer. I did a good sanding first and then a few coats of primer. Then sanded till I got down and the plastic lines started showing a lot and repeated. Dont want to remove too much plastic since most of the panels just have fill in them.
I haven't gotten that yet for the overland build servo. On the first build I just switch manually.

Chassis and drivetrain is pretty much done. Body mounts installed. Test fit scale 37's before but now with motor, trans etc and even lifted I would need some major body trimming so I'll stick with 35's and took pic with 37's next to it to show.
    Before motor trans etc.
    20210130_120205.jpg

After with the weight on it. Installed 35's and a 37 next to it. Lol
    20210406_175324.jpg
So now to take it all apart for electrical wiring, lights?, sliders, rear bumper, snorkel, etc.
