I'm hoping for minimal rain so I can rock tube doors without getting too wrecked with puddles, we'll see. I'll bring them regardless and make a game-time decision if I want to swap them on.

With the cost of materials right now it wouldn’t have saved me much money making them myself, so I chose to save some time and energy and buy premade.

Plan may have changed..but I am still going to try to make it. I know a guy who has a set of 35s he said I can use instead of the 31s I currently have. But that means I have to cut my shock towers off and redo them(going to do that tomoprrow if it doesn't rain after work. Going to try to get the front Elocker wired up too(maybe tonight). Going to run without sliders and hope its tall enough to not hit anything under the 4runner. I also have a transmission problem. Occasionally I Lose all my gears except for 2nd....after some massaging it will go in and start working....I think something in the transmission is "moving" and not letting the "gates" line up to get it in gear. It also makes a terrible sound. But there is no metal in the oil....I think it is just something has a little play and is vibrating or flopping around. I am going to send it. As long as the transmission decides to make it. If so next week the transmission is coming out and getting pulled apart...again. Anybody plan on running Green/Blues Saturday? Ideally I'd like to run a green or easy blue first just to be sure my handy work is good and everything works as it should. Then try some more difficult stuff if everything goes ok...

Where's the usual spot? I'll have a trailer with me, not sure if this event has separate trailer parking as I've seen for other events they host. I normally camp in the red or green spots.

I don't think so, it's kinda tucked away so maybe you just haven't seen it. There's no gate or anything inhibiting access to get back there. It's a perfect spot for a group of 4-5 trucks and to have some privacy from other campers.

edit: there's a picnic table and fire ring back there too, so it's definitely an established site.

Right? And I almost never got to camp in the trees near the entrance either, even when I was the first one there. I got so used to always camping in the orange/green spot in the old says. The newer times have been in the pink area after the big wash out of 2017 IIRC.

Glad they are at least expanding the camp area. Back in the day you could enter the trails from that road but that's since been blocked off. Would be nice to see them make 2-3 more spots like that in that wooded area.

I've seen the gate, it would be so convenient if it was open rather than having to loop all the way around to enter camp.

It was, but it also was very convenient for people to get on the trails without paying straight from camp too.

That's why I figured it had gotten shut down. This is why we can't have nice things.

Yeah I plan on setting up Camp wherever there is a free spot... haha. I will sleep in the vehicle. I'm not lugging a tent out or anything. I may just get a pizza and bring a cooler full of pizza and water for food. haha trying to pack light. Already going to have enough gear in spares and tools....I assume they still have air there right? I Don't have an Air compressor on the 4runner yet. I very very very rarely use it on the truck but when I do...man is it nice. haha
