:fingerscrossed: That sounds good. I test drove a used one w/ 14k a month ago and I recall the clutch feeling a bit better. The sprint booster looks pretty neat. I will have to look into that.

IMHO, don't bother with a SprintBooster or PedalCommander. Get a tune instead. It will give a big hit of low end torque among many other benefits. You'll be able to get rolling without the need to add any revs.

Sorry for bringing up the sprint booster. This thread will now turn into SB vs PC vs tune...

That's not my intention. I made the personal choice to go with SB over the other 2. All I was saying is that with it, I had to relearn clutch timing.

My apologies. Although the original problem is effectively solved.

Next up would be clutch pedal squeaks? :D Solved either with disk brake grease or the FJ metal pedal.

It is interesting that the MT needs some attention, just like the AT.

Maybe? I had it a little bit, took 10min to hit it with grease, and it hasn't been back in about 40k. There is a TSB about it for the earlier 3rd Gens, but I'd recommend keeping it out of the shop's hands.

The Taco is solid and you'll enjoy it. Just minor things needed to make it shine. 75k on mine and you couldn't get me to swap.
