That would be awesome but I really doubt they would. And if they did it probably wouldn't be much...

Yeah, you can't buy any ammo directly from CCI on their web site so I doubt you can buy it directly from the factory.

I would be cool if they could give out samples though, kinda like when you go to the Budweiser Brewery and they give you samples of the beer. :)

If you need .22lr ammo keep checking out this thread on a regular basis and you'll be able to find some:

    http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-m-p-15-22/292430-official-stock-22lr-ammo-thread-120.html

I was able to order a 1600rnd ammo can of CCI Mini Mag, a 500rnd brick of Aguila HP Hypervelocity, and a 500rnd brick of Remington Thunderbolt all in the last three weeks because of that link. All between .06 - .10 cents a round. Before I found it I was looking for months without any luck.

For reasonable deals you have to catch the links within about an hour of them being posted, they go out of stock quick. If it's a good deal like .05 - .08 cents a round sometimes even quicker.

Another thing I noticed is that guys will post direct links to in stock .22 ammo at Cabelas in that thread. However when I go to Cabelas and search Shooting -> Ammunition -> Rimfire, nothing shows up as in stock at all, but at the same time these direct links are showing in stock for a short time and have allowed me to order. So don't trust just going to Cabelas and searching for rimfire ammo from their main page, you'll never find it even if they do have some in stock.

I was doing my "see if I can find some ammo" stops and found a little .45ACP at Academy, begged my 2 boxes out the door and felt lucky. Stopped at Bass Pro and they had nothing on the shelves as usual. The cashier saw me and asked what I was looking for. Told me to come around the corner and look at the end cap of the aisle. They had cases of 100 count boxes of Winchester .45ACP! 10 box limit! Hee hee. Got out of there with 6 boxes.

Now if I can find some .22LR .22MAG and 10MM I'll be a happy man. Trying the link 2 posts back.... Nope. Everyone is out of stock.

I finally found .22 had to go just over the Pa line to get it for $50 for 500 and then some a few miles from home last week 500 rounds for $75.

Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
Depends on the store, but most I have been to say tues-fri are when the trucks come in.
