This reminds me of the deleted aux transmission cooler debacle.

Take them to small claims court for $3,375.00.

You can win that easy with no lawyers involved.

OP do you have leather seats, moon roof and all the other features listed in the description minus the JBL?

Also, if you are still active duty, you may be able to get access to JAG for this for no cost.

Small claims won’t award anything. The package that Toyota charges $3375 for is installed on the OPs truck.

Man, it should not come lawyers. I do these sort of investigations in my industry. Unless there is evidence the sticker was tempered with or modified, the primary focus should be on fixing it for the customer. Even if the customer is overreacting, within reason, it’s our mistake and they are entitled to being upset. We don’t just have to compensate them exactly for the item’s value, but also for the hassle of having to deal with OUR mistake. Then, after the customer is Ok, we look into how this happened and how to we prevent it in the future. Any other approach is just foolish for the company, a couple hundred or thousand dollars, are you kidding me. It will cost more than that to fight it and the company has no moral high ground here. Really struggling to understand how Toyota has not already fixed this. Of course we don’t know the whole story here, the OP could have been asking for a free truck for all we know, but it sure looks like an authentic sticker printed by Toyota. In every contract dispute, the advantage goes to the party that didn’t author the contract. I get this is different, but a lot of explaining is on Toyota’s shoulders and very little on the customer’s.

I'm not reading all of the thread, but safe to assume people are saying that it's fairly common knowledge the manual doesn't come with the sub or JBL? Says so on Toyota's website. There are other things the manual doesn't come with, but I'm sure you're enjoying your sunglasses holder.

Does the Monroney sticker have a disclaimer at the bottom? What does your sales contract disclaimers say regarding such an event?
    99% sure you're SOL.

Most Tacoma's are a bit over 17', not 22' in length. Even a DCLB is under 19'. If you're talking about a 2022 model it is shortened by saying '22. If you write 22' that is a measurement in feet.

    Not the full package though.
    But…..
I retract my statement about small claims since the Monroney sticker is a Federal Disclosure Act and not state law.

Let’s carry on with class action lawsuit for M/T folks missing amps speakers getting a check for $35 and a TRD hat 10 years from now.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Majority of buyers likely never read all the details on the web and go by the sticker. If the sticker is wrong, then Toyota owes what is stated or compensation for its fair value.

if I were the OP, I would file a small claims court case for the cost to buy the amp, sub, and JBL stuff from Toyota. Add in the costs of filing fees etc and sue the dealer. THEY sold the vehicle and they can duke it out with Toyota corporate.

And FWIW, I sued a Honda dealer and won, including court costs etc. it’s pretty easy.

I can't speak to your delusional fantasies, but here's a simple fact:

Someone bought a Tacoma from a dealer that printed a window sticker with errors. Toyota is not culpable in anyway, it's between the buyer and the seller. Period.

Acting like it's the buyer's responsibility to know that the sticker is incorrect is just absolutely fk'ing moronic, full stop. This ain't second hand information, it's straight from the source.

OP quite literally purchased one thing and was delivered another. Period.

What possible source could one seek out that is more reliable than the one PROVIDED BY TOYOTA, IN WRITING, AT THE POINT OF SALE?

    Interesting......

The OP wants to launch a Class Action Lawsuit over a couple hundred bucks worth of speakers?????

I guess the concept of a Class Action is tough to grasp. Think Paraquat or Asbestos or J&J Talcum Powder type of action to be Class Action caliber.

Suggest to work with the dealer and a local car audio shop. Perhaps the dealer would do a partial reimburse for the install of the speakers.

OP... Good Luck with your pursuit.

Every other source aside from that single window sticker that says JBL is only offered with the automatic? If you’re still unsure you can just look at the truck in person and see it doesn’t have the JBL labeled head unit or the subwoofer behind the seat?

You are wrong. The OPs truck has the premium package installed and the price is exactly what Toyota charges for a manual transmission premium package without JBL.
