    Morning

    I have a 22 offroad, stock.

I've purchased some 275/65/r18s and I'm looking for rims now.

I've got a 3inch level that will go on before the wheels do.

Will I run into problems going to a -22 offset. Really loving the black rhino wheels and found a nice set for a good price.

    Thanks.

You'll be fine on the street, probably rub once you leave pavement. Slight plastic trimming if anything. How wide is the wheel you're looking at?

With a really good alignment, you will be fine. You don't need any lift to fit those tires though. So if the leveling kit is nothing but strut spacers and rear blocks, I would reconsider installing that.

They are called wheels, not rims. 32s on a 3" lift will look odd and 10.5s on a 8.5 wheel will probably put them closer to 31s. That said with a 3" lift, you should clear most plastic, but could hit the body mount with -22 offset. Your wheels are basically going to sweep 2" more than stock. Forget about an alignment if you went 3" and didn't get new UCAs. What tires did you get? Please don't say E load range. My back aches just thinking about your set up.

It really depends on the look you are going for. If you want the skateboard look where you have wheels that stick out beyond the body and have low profile tires and lots of wheel well space, you can achieve it with that set up. If you want a more off road look, then you want more side wall and tires that will fill the wheel well. I'm not saying one is better than the other. It is your truck so I am using analogies to help you visualize in your head so you know what you are getting.

For a 10.5" tire (a 275 is pretty close to being 10.5" wide), 7" is the ideal wheel width. However, you can get the bead to set on a 10" wheel if you were that motivated. What happens is that when you widen the wheel, it lessens the height of the tire.

I don't think I would go with a 9" wheel, but again, if that is the look you want...

There are calculators that help you visualize what you are doing because there are 3 factors you are looking at when trying to get the fit right. Offset, back spacing, and width. You can adjust two of the factors and it will force you to accept the 3d.

Play around with this site to narrow your search - A related question, have you put the lift on, and are upper control arms part of it?

BTW, your tires are standard load tires. They are fine for ride quality. Probably not the greatest for off road.

I agree with Sungod, decide on the look you’re going after. That will be your blueprint on how to go forward. In the old days, JDM guys were secretive about their offsets.

I have not experienced that with this community of tacos, which is nice and helpful.
