Yes I agree... The fact that the previous owner didn’t change anything and had all the original keys/remotes/alarm/sunroof shade ect... was a huge selling point...

Ya It's a 4x4 limited with the 3.4l and no rust and a rebuilt transmission and solid maintenance records. It's not a Trd though do a couple k can be knocked off for that flaw lol but at just over 200k now I ran into some cooling system issues and had a water temp scare yesterday so parked it and was searching threads last night for any info.

It's leaking from an apparent weep hole on the drivers side front of the engine block, just to the left of the thermostat housing. I figured it was a water pump thing so ordered a kit. Then noticed today that when at increased rpms the leak turns into a stream that made me think I may have a blockage at the thermostat or lower radiator tank that's not allowing enough flow so the excess pressure is being released through that weep.

Parts are on their way but im going to try a system flush tomorrow am to hopefully get some safer running conditions so I can get to work this week without risking catastrophy lol. It's got a easy 200k more to give. Great truck all around and my pooch appreciates the double cab with his own private entry.

it's not a trd though. I missed that part first read through.

Besides what my profile pic is, not too many decent pics of it from my iPhone 5 lol. And it's lived the last 100k on dirt mountain roads and since I've had it as a work truck too so pics will surely get some heat lol. The previous owner did some minor cosmetic damage too and I've always been a function over form person when it comes to cars. I did get a random offer to buy it at a gas station but I had just payed it off lol. It's been great and my pup likes his own personal cab and entry.

I did do the bilstein 5100 setup from Wheelers along with some needed bushings and steering stuff and upgraded the stereo with some infinity components in the front and 5x7s in the back with a bazooka tube and pioneer deck I've had since the early 00's. I was kinda proud with the stock tweeter replacement and my dremnel skills lol. I might take a pic of that and post one of these days lol.

I just had to replace the water pump this weekend and did the timing belt as wel, and after that marathon of amateur ish wrenching and having my car back coolly purring again, I feel like I won this weekend for sure and there's still another day to it! Woot! Cheers and yes I should post pics. Thank s for the reminder!

That’s an insane price for that many miles.

    Hahah, definitely not a 2012!

But.. is it really a Limited with out the TRD package?! Have you plugged your vin into Toyota owners site and could you share this ultra rare build spec sheet to confirm what you have there?

Example, here is the result from the Limited I pulled my Sport seats out of.

Here’s a pic after her 1st exterior wash... She was dirty after the trip Portland... Just installed a new Toyota hood protector today... Will have more pics with the new hood protector and interior soon... Sorry I’ve been lagging a bit... I’ve been busy playing with the 4wd every chance I get...

for some perspective, i almost paid $25k for a 2012 sport with 87k miles so i would say that truck is overpriced

Yeah I agree... The price came down substantially after about 2 months of waiting... I still paid a nice premium for it though...

So I just read all 12 pages of this. I know right? So here's what I keep thinking about. It's a really nice truck and all, but what happens if some dipshit kid in his mom's explorer tbones that badboy? What kind of insurance payout do you get? I would bet they don't apply the tacoma world premium. So you lose the extra money you paid over it's payout value. Seems kinda risky.

Those sunroof covers are pretty rad. Took me forever to find one for my 01 Limited ... one dealer actually had a new one and wanted $450 for it.

The lumbar support is a nice feature on the Limited as well. Congrats, you're going to love that truck!
