235/85's are taller and skinnier....what would look better on a double cab base 4x4 with the front billy's at 1.75........if you have a picture of the 235's please post.........

I don't have a picture of the 235, but my vote is 265 in a heart beat! Especially on a 4x4!!!!

Very nice. I originally wanted 285's. The tire shop highly suggested not to. Perhaps my spacer lift didn't cut it. I'll wait till I get my 5100's. :D

Those 235s are about .08 inches "taller" and about 1.18 inches "skinner" IMO you are going to notice the skinnier alot more on a lifted truck. Get the beefy tires...You won't regret it.

285s rub against the UCA at full turn. But no other rubbing.... and yes this is at a 3" lift

    235/85 r16 are load range E also,thats 5-8 lb heavier 8-10 plies, but stronger than a 265 load range C.

Bet his jetta never saw a 235/85 though lol

We're getting new vans at work soon (similar to fedex), think the size is 245/60 R19.5. , ....good mpg tire but gonna be slick as snot when it snows. My old van is on 235/75 r16, gonna miss them, they're an A.T. tire.

Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
Sorry for the revamp. I was wondering the same thing. I don't have a lIft or mud flaps an have no rub with 265/75/16 and was thinkin about gettin wheel spaces if I got these. any pics or thoughts? I'm. forerunner so don't hardcore off road. but I figured if be losing nearly a whole tire worth of width on the asphalt and since they're 10ply they'd last nearly twice as long, both saving money in the long run while getting a little taller tire.
