Plenty of resources around here. I've done it. My truck hasn't exploded yet.

Did you buy the truck new? Or buy it 2nd hand and not sure if it's been done?

If its never been done, the most I'd do is a drain, clean the filter screen and fill. Do this a couple times to gradually change the fluid and flush out any varnish that's accumulated that could plug up your filter.

Carrying a truck camper will put a higher load on the transmission and the fluid.

But, this topic is one that creates many different opinions. Its all from members personal experience.
