24 ft boat towing help

I was wondering if anyone has tips or advice on if I should use my tacoma to tow.

I recently purchased an AR240 dry weight 3,660lbs, im guessing not including the trailer. I have a 2017 4x4 on 34's E Rated tires all terrain, manual transmission, with a steel bumper winch and sliders.

My current setup is Kings on 700lb springs and a toytec progressive 3 leaf ad a pack at a 2.75 inch lift. I also have the tacoma tuned on OVtuned @ 91 octane.

I have access to a fullsize v8 SUV to tow. But that requires borrowing the vehicle.

Will I be putting too much stress on the clutch?

 

Depending how far you are towing and what grades you are towing through, you will be better with the v8.

I have a very similar setup to you, OVTuned at 91 on 2.0, Fox 2.5 all around with Eibach 700lb springs up front and Dakar MD leafs in the back, sliders but with 285/70/17 not 34s.

My boats right at 5k lbs with trailer and fuel.
I'm assuming you will be about around the same, maybe more depending on your tank(s) size.

So far I haven't had an issue but I tow maybe 60 miles through small hills in AZ. I wouldn't take it through any major grades.
Stay in S4 and monitor your trans temps, but again if I could, I'd go V8.

 

All I can say is that the larger tires are going to give you a higher final gear ratio requiring more clutch slip. And you will have reduced RPMs requiring more speed to make power and compensate for the reduced torque of lower gears. If it possible, I would try a test run towing the boat and see how it feels.
