I scored some snow tires but they are 70s Im currently running 245/75/16 on my 02 3.4 4x4. At 120 kph im revving 3000rpm, how much worse should I expect and is it worth it. I do about 45mins of highway a day.

1" smaller diameter, 22 more revs per mile. It won't be very noticeable. Your speed will be a little different.

If you scored em, run em.

What isu2014 said it right, but just to add some numbers: the 75 ratio give a nominal of 30.46", the 70 ratio gives you 29.50"... afterthat everything is proportionnal. The difference is a 3.2% increase of your RPM (or a 3.2% loss of your speed for the same RPM).

If you really reving 3k rpm at 120, you gonna have to rev 3096 RPM to keep the same speed. Otherwise you gonna ride at 116.2 km/h at 3000.

    so much fun! :p
