    Anyone w/ a 5 Lug 4cyl install 245/70/17s with NO Lift or Spacers on a 5 Lug 4Cyl?

I just got back from local auto shop w/ my 2" front spacers to be installed and was told the 2" inch front spacers are not needed and that I'd be able to install 245/70/17s w/ no lift needed and that it wouldn't rub the wheel well / black box.

Anyone have any intel on this? I have decided on the 245/70/17s (both the wheels and tires) but want to be sure on the 2" lift (do I really need this). Appreciate any insight from anyone with experience and or firsthand knowledge. TIA

I'm not sure about no lift. To be honest I don't really know a whole lot about the 5 lugs. I do know that you can fit a 31" tire in there with a lift and some finagling. So a 245/70r17 should be able to fit with a lift. Maybe ask this in the dedicated 5 lug forum?
