Does this size count as a 'tall/skinny'? I've seen a bunch of them on the local CL and FBMP because there's a local stealership that takes brand new jerps, stuffs on a 3" spacer 'lift' kit, stupid wide wheels/over size tries and a cute little decal for the hood that says 'rock monster'...:der:

Anyway, there's always a metric shit-ton of new wheels/tires up for grabs on the cheap. Today I saw some new goodyear wrangler adventure tires (5) for stupid cheap. The size could fit my Taco, it's equivalent to the 265-75-16 that I tried on the Taco from my 4runner, it's basically 31.5" tall. This should make the 2.7 really happy. Me being the frugal individual that I am, I see an opportunity for new AT tires that I can mount on the 5th gen 4runner wheels that I've been sitting on for a while.

Anyone else running this odd duckling of a tire size?

I am gonna eventually run this size tire, because I have a nice set from my gf’s jeep wrangler. I believe it’s the exact same Goodyear tires that you speak of.

I see no problem with your plan. We used them Offroad on the jeep before going to 35’s. They are good tires.

I also don’t really want them on my truck, but am also frugal, and plan to run them until they are dead. Will save me about $1000 by the time I done I am estimating. Let me know how it goes.

and yes, they are kinda tall and skinny, lol
