I thought so too, but when I looked up the VIN everything matched. Not saying that alone completely validates it, but it's an indicator of a legit ad.

If the frame and rust are not a problem, drive it on a nice long trip to Florida. You'll have a ton of carbon buildup to burn off.

It's not impossible to have such a vehicle. My father's 2006 Tacoma has just broken 30k miles recently. It's garage kept and still serviced by the dealer to keep an eye on that undercarriage issue. It doesn't go more than a couple days without being driven which helps keep it in good running condition. He'll have to replace the tires before the tread wears out.

Over the past 7 years, I've purchased two low miles engines from cars over 15 years old that had been wrecked. I can tell they are "granny car" engines as soon as I pull the intake manifold for a good check out. The engines are in great shape, except they are usually full of carbon in the intake, around the injectors, and EGR (if present). The carbon seems to build up from a lot of short stop-start trips that don't allow the engine to operate at normal operating temperatures for an extended period of time. I was always surprised to see the amount of carbon build up that accumulates in those short-haul conditions. It doesn't hurt anything mechanically, it just something I've noticed over time.

There is some truth to the old adage that says, "it needs a good long trip to blow the soot out of it". I haven't seen that type of buildup occur on my daily drivers that I make a point to keep the RPMs up and allow to fully warm up during use.

very low mileage not always great!
short trips, stop and go, heavy wear and tear, especially on an MT, brakes and exhaust

If it hasn't had a recent valve cover gasket change, it will need it soon. The gasket and bolt grommets will be hardened from age. When you do the VC gasket change, you will get to see extremely clean camshafts and most likely some carbon buildup in the intake.

The only things the truck needs is the front chrome bumper and the rear passenger side fender flare
