What do you guys think? I have searched on hear and looked at plenty of posts about performance upgrades. I have $250 burning a hole in my pocket. I have a long commute and drive a lot of highway, and limited off roading. I would like to give my truck a little more of a kick. Soo I'm thinking about getting the URD MAF calibrator and an AFE drop in filter since our trucks are already a CAI. Now I know I won't gain abunch of horsepower like we all want, but I want to do something. Do you think I should do this mod, or just save the money for later??? I wouldnt mind getting a CAI just for the nice sound. (I used to have a diesel, and I sometimes miss the turbo whistle :) But I know the CAI's really won't do too much.

Also, is the URD MAF more or less kind of like what the "superchips" programers are? As in they adjust the timing control, fuel, etc? I know the URD MAF abviously adjusts the MAF, and relays messages back to everything else, then it all adjusts.

    Thanks guys

Save it until there is something you really want or NEED for the truck. You DON'T HAVE to spend it today  If something comes up later on, you will be glad you saved the $$$ now

I know your'e looking for a performance upgrade, but how about some floor liners like some huskys or weather tech. I got some huskys and Iam so glad I got them I was gonna get some walmart ones but the "Bucket" design is great keep every thing off the floor. and you'll have some money left over for the afe drop in.

Get that AFE drop in and then maybe a new headunit. Nothing beats a better sounding stereo
