Pretty much the title. Just got the new tires mounted yesterday on my 21 sport. Firestone destination mt2. They slightly, and I mean slightly rub on the UCAs at full lock in reverse only. They’re mounted on the stock sport rims. They don’t rub any other way, even forward at full lock. Would an alignment fix this? Wondering what alignment numbers would I be looking at to fix it. Also how bad is it to rub like that? It’s not too often it’s at full lock in reverse and I live in an area where getting an alignment might take a while.
    Thanks

Not sure an alignment is what you need since you're rubbing the UCA an not the cab mount or fender flares but may help? I'd say aftermarket rims with proper offset or wheel spacers would solve that problem.

Maybe a 1/2 in wheel spacer might do the trick.

If this is just a little "slightly rub" situation I wouldn't worry about it. I mean only full lock, and reverse? I've had a truck or two with a little rub here or there, nothing to worry about. Just so the little rub doesn't grind you to full stop, we we'll need talk a little more in depth if that's happening. :D

Keep your eye on the tire wear. Hopefully there is no need for concern........

i run this size and have no rub…ever. However, I do have 1.5” of lift and the TRD Pro 4Runner wheels which stick out 0.4” more than the stock wheels.

I’d go with different wheels with slightly more offset outwards.

Avoid wheel spacers, they are not a good idea and can cause more problems than good. Also, your truck deserves better than wheel spacers…

yup sounds like you will need TRD Sema wheels to cure what ails you. They move out about 1/2 inch or so
