Post your 255/80/17s! Looking for any help i can get on the 255/80/17 paired with a 2" OME lift. Been searching around and i see a lot of 3" lifts fit them no problem but would i be able to get away with fitting them on my 2" lift and if so what would be some things to look out for in the case of rubbing. I prefer the skinnies as i am in wet and snowy conditions more often than not and I am leaning towards the method NV's 17x8.5 = 0 offset, 4.5 backspacing.

Wicked! Much rubbing? Any spacers used? Wondering if the 0 offset and 4.5bs would bring them out too much and cause rubbing on the fenders.

2.5" lift Cooper StMaxx 255/80/17's on first gen Tundra wheels. No rubbing at any time anywhere. Camberg UCA's with castor set at +3.

8.5" wheel may be too wide look at a 7.5" wide wheel or 8" at the most. 8" is the widest recomended.

I don't have any rubbing on the stock wheels after removing those fake little flaps on the front side of the wheel well.

The falken wildpeak AT3Ws have a rim width range 6.5-8.5. I do see what you're saying how the 8.5 might be pushing it when aired down

Basically this will boil down to what's most important to you. After all that is all that matters anyway. If you like the look of the wider wheels go for it. As you can probably tell looking at my pics I don't do so much on this vehicle for appearances but I have concentrated more so on function. There is no right or wrong really it's just figure out what works best for you. From what you have told me, for the Wildpeaks, 8.5" wide wheels are on the chart for them so it seems, perhaps you have found a nice compromise. I am not one of the ones on here to tell anybody "this is what you need" have fun with it I'd like to see pics of it with the wildpeaks mounted they are good looking tires.
