I think it depends on your alignment... Mine was fine when it 1.75" up front and nothing in the rear, even flexing.

Then when I increased it to 2.5/1.5 the alignment shop pushed my caster back and it caused it to rub the body mount. I went back a few times but was unable to convince them to set the caster closer to 3* as everyone recommends. Unfortunately it's the lifetime alignment with Firestone and I don't feel like arguing with them every time so I just did the BMC and let them set it where they want, at 2*.

I think that’s where it’s good going to a real offroad shop, and let them do the alignment.
It’s not a lifetime alignment but it’s done right. If you have aftermarket ucas.

Just went to pizza cutters (255/80r17). They look amazing on the 4Runner wheels. The additional offset puts them right at the fender. No rubbing. 20181208_171622.jpg

It was paid for at that point, so I’m sure they would’ve said see ya!

I’ve never had issues with them before and knowing I can get it realigned free in the future is a huge plus. We have a few here in town and I plan to try another but just haven’t gotten around to it. Having the truck sitting at a shop is a huge pita for me these days.

It was 5100 all around and Wheeler AAL’s. Don’t have her anymore but stuck with Toyota!

Anyone have the Nitto ridge grappler in 255 80 R17? Trying to decide between this and the St Maxx.
