Just installed SL rated Duratracs in 255/75/17 on TRD Sema wheels (4mm offset). My truck is on a 1.5-2” lift front and rear. Looks exactly how I wanted it to look. Definitely skinnier than the 265/75/16 I was running previously, but I kind of prefer the look and performance of a tall skinny tire.

That was the eibach pro lift. 2"front/1"back. Sold the truck a year ago though.

Well due to circumstances beyond my control I had to drive 2400 miles on 255/80/17 BFG KM3's hahahha! They did awesome! I will say they perform in the rain much better than I expected.

Resurrection post but I have the exact setup and wondering if you think my scs 17x8.5 -10 offset will clear? Planning on getting the same wildpeaks.

-10 offset increases the scrubbing radius. I would say you will rub for sure, probably will need to trim fender liners.

I have zero rub at full articulation off-road, even with mudflaps. It’s great

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned I have a 2 inch lift with Jba ucas giving me about 4 degrees of caster.

just got mine ... love'em so far ... looks even better in person ... here's a few pics ... wondering if it will rub with the mud flaps though .... i did some melting and zip ties -there's almost a half inch of space -my fingers barely fit.F7486B32-531D-4728-81A6-BE8E1704CB90.jpgIMG_4606.jpgA36F3271-2E94-44A0-BB62-253E7013643E.jpg2FC09269-ED44-4C35-85DF-401E4CDDB30B.jpgFB4BA893-C3AE-497F-8D03-5370A06BF855.jpg573D28AD-99A4-401A-9474-76C522166366.jpg

    Man, looks great!

Im running 255/80/17 wildpeaks with stock mudflaps and no rubbing whatsoever. Coopers do run like a quarter inch bigger so that’s why.

Thanks -I appreciate it! Yeah, your truck was one of the reasons I went pizza cutter route.

The stock flaps sit a little more flush than mine.... and I think ur half right -wildpeaks are about a quarter skinnier but are a quarter taller than the ST Maxx -fwiw ...and according to tire rack

Can those of you that have the 255/80s tell your truck is riding higher? And in person does it look like it’s sitting higher off the ground? I know it’s difficult to tell from photos so I’m just wondering. I want my truck to look like it’s higher off the ground because I had to have step bars installed due to my short wife having difficulty climbing into it without them

    few things here and there.
I can’t wait to get mine. Running 265/75/16’s. I personally like my ORM OR wheels. So, swapping to some PC’s seems like a great choice for my situation.

Can you run some pizza cutters with a 1-1.5” lift? Optimally, with no rub.

Are you guys also seeing prices of like $270 per tire at best in this size? Am I crazy or is that really high?
