    Hello,

I know there are a few people running 255/85/16 on stock OR wheels, does anyone have any indication if a 255/85/16 would fit on stock TRD sport suspension with using a 16x8 0 offset with 4.5 backspace?

I'm not the strongest with rims, but I feel like the additional offset might go cause cab mount rub? Stock TRD OR are what +25mm, so I'd have a half inch sticking out further, correct?

Trying to get some pizza cutters! thank you!

I did a lot of research before I put my 255/85/16 on. I found some people were rubbing with that exact offset. Only reason I am running stock rims.
If you look thur the 255/85/16 thread you will find the posts I am referring too. Hopefully one of them chime in.

FWIW - searching shows some mixed results. Mostly those who run a slightly different set up, like a thinner rim with 0 offset

Resurfacing this post. I am looking 255/85/r16 tires on this exact same wheel size (16x8 +0mm & 4.5") Backspacing. Will I run into issues with rubbing with this offset and backspacing on stock suspension?

I had a friends 255/85/16 on my SR5 before I got my new 235/85/16. I had no rubbing with either. Stock SR5 wheels are +25.

Possibly. Going to +0mm offset will push your entire wheel/tire out 1 inch from the OEM offroad wheels, making the arch/path that the outside edge of the tire swings at wider, which might put your tire into the cab mount. There's barely any room between the tire and the cab mount with the offroad wheels as it is. Here was mine when I put my 255/85R16's on, probably less than a finger's width between the tire and cab mount.

It's possible you'll miss the cab mount, every truck seems slightly different, so it's no guarantee that what exact setup that has worked for others will work 100% of the time for everyone.

Here's an example that worked out from a quick search, with only some minor plastic trimming.

You can use the search function to search that thread for more input on that setup, I just did a quick search of "16x8" and found the above. You'll have to lose the OEM mudguards in the front if you have them.
