@stevotivo12 Thanks for the advice. I'll take it to another shop and see what they say. Discount still swears it's mechanical on my part. I should note that there is and hasn't been any pull right or left since the alignment immediately after the tire install. I'll take it over to my buddy's shop and see what he say, also suggesting your camber and caster adjustments. Toyota swears there aren't any mechanical issues, and I am inclined to believe them - since they want to charge for every little thing.

I suspect that Discount didn't balance them in the first place, but recorded that they had.

I ran 255 ST Maxx on stock OR wheels for a year on stock suspension. The only rubbing was with flex and turn and that was very light on the mud flaps that didn't even leave permanent marks. No trimming or adjusting at all. I just got back from a long wheeling trip and had zero rubbing after lift and alignment even at full stuff.

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting with this setup? Stock gearing I assume?

If your worried about gas milage, get street tires and don’t add weight to your truck. Not trying to be an ass but the more you do, the lower it got about 13.5 per the onboard computer for this trip0028E03A-27E4-4363-8533-44EACDDFE37D.jpg

i love roof racks and bed racks and pop up tents but in the end yes i daily drive my truck and wouldn't want that stuff on while i commute to work and some of the places our job sites are at I bring my concealed for protection and im just a construction worker lol my truck is my money maker could i have a commuter car yeah if i wanted but i love my Tacoma and hate driving cars i cant drive a car cause i think im in a race at least i know in my tacoma i cant get too crazy bout shart myself one time i was on I-5 doing about 80mph and traffic was also and all the sudden cars are stopping and i slammed my brakes truck nose dove so hard that the back tires were locked up full on skid with cooper stt pros sounded gnarly on concrete. im trying to do like a Eco over-landing set up the roof rack will be removable i like my bed cover flip back style. i cant justify spending thousands of dollars on roof racks and bed racks and truck tents when its more practical to leave it on my wife and I went to CVT in Bend, Oregon not far from us like 3.5 hrs and we were for sure impressed with their quality but what stood out to us the most is the CVT trailer and really would love to leave camp set up and go hit the trails. $10,000 and i dont have to keep it on my truck all the time now that seems alot better to me and worth just unhooking a trailer and leaving camp set up

The final answer here is that with stock suspension on stock TRD OR wheels - you will only ever slightly rub the front mud flaps at full turn and full crunch.

Take mud flaps off and you'll never rub.

got some 255/85r16 Cooper ST Maxx on the stock OR wheels yesterday. Running about 1.5” lift (OME coils, Bilstein 5100s, and an AAL in back). No rubbing. Some tread squirm, but very quiet for how aggressive they are (too early to add much else).

I’ve run the Cooper ST MAXX on my 2017 TRDOR stock wheels since it was new. I have a OME 2” lift and have never had any rubbing issues. My driving is 90% on pavement. The only issues I’ve ever had is #1, they are expensive, #2, the noise increases noticeably around 30K miles and #3, they’re shot approaching 40K. I rotate every 5K and watch pressures pretty close, but the current set are cupping quite a bit. Due to my usage, I’d switch to a more road worthy tire in the same size but I can’t find one.
