I can't comment on the Wildpeaks but I just went from Duratracs to the ST Maxx (255/85/r16) and the Maxx's are about 4x quieter. The Duratracs howled on the highway. Still never bothered me all that much but I can see how it could bother some on a long commute. If the Maxx's ended up bothering you, I'd be surprised. Plus, I hear better things about the Maxx's than I do the Wildpeaks for offroad but I guess that depends on how you use your truck.

Great write up and lots of info.
I'm on ST Maxx 265/75r16 for now but will go for skinny 33'' with the next set.
I red a few of you did manage to put those as spare. Any photographic documentation would be awesome...

I just fit a ST Maxx 33" under mine by doing a hoist relocation. Two new holes equal length apart towards the back of the truck. Ezpz

I chopped my exhaust off at the same time so not sure if it would hit that

Great write up bro. I stuck with 265/75/16 IMO still look good on a subtle lift. 255’s look great OP

I did not have them on without wheel spacers. They may rub mud flaps that’s it

I have 265/75r16 Wildpeak AT3s and there is no rubbing on a stock 2020 Pro with the factory 1" lift, but I don't think there would be an issue on a stock OR. Thinking about changing to 255/85r16 so I can get 33's and still use my stock rims. Also planning to go to a mid-travel lift at about the same time.

I couldn't see anything marked on mine, but load range E per this site for my size tire (265/75r16).

Absolutely love my 265/75/16 Duratracs, but now they look small with my 2/1" lift.

Wish Goodyear made a pizza cutter size Duratrac. 255/80 or 85/16 C Load Duratracs would be awesome.

Still best rain rating, best rim protection & 3 peak snow designation. They almost look as aggressive as a M/T, but surprisingly quiet for such an aggressive look.

Do you have a photo of your set up? I just put on 265/75/16 c load duratracs and am in love w them for all the reasons you listed. Was worried about noise etc and thus far I can barely tell a difference. I was considering upgrading my suspension and doing 6112 for 1.5" in the front and AAL in the rear...but am now worried the 265s will look small.

I dig it. I'm concerned that mine will look odd with a 16x8 wheel and 3.5" BS.

    Great info posted. Thanks.
I’ve been on 265/75/16 for almost the whole life of the truck. I will be going skinny on my next set, which will be next month.

    Now what to choose?

Go with the 255s or you will always question yourself about going smaller
