Post pics when you are done. What lift you got? Spacers or not?

Will do when j get home I'm meeting a guy now to sell the ones I took off. But to answer your question.
Ome 885x up front got full 3 inches and Chevy leafs added in the rear for around 2-2.5 lift.
And yes I have spidertrax 1.25 wheel spacers all around.

Looks good, and those pics are with spacers? I think without the spacers they would be tucked in too much.

Having them tucked inside the fenders during compression is kinda the point , no ?

My argument to that is people run 285s and wheel the heck out of them. I have not read one time that someone has had an issue with ripping off fenders. Same height a lot skinnier. With 1.25 spacers the 255s are almost to the edge of the fender

I'm planning on the next set of tires being 255/80/17. I have the 1.25 spacers now, but I'm still trying to decide if I should ditch them with the next set of tires (stock sport rims).
Edit: I'm running 265/70/17 now, so I guess I could loose the spacers now.

Leave them on one side and compare. I don't think I would like them with out.

I tried to run (1.25") spacers on the front with the steelies. Ended up removing them after a couple of days. Was afraid of carnage under serious compression... I liked the look, but function>form any day IMO.

Interested none the less. Let us know how it works out.

We shall see. I just don't see it being an issue or too much of one.

I ran 255s with 1.25 spacers for a while with no issues for fender rub. They do increase your turning radius, chew on the outside edges of your tires, and make your taco less nimble on tight twisty trails.

I've ordered Icon's Stage 6 along with a set of four 255 85 R16. Should be installed in the next couple weeks. I've been lurking in this thread for about a year :spy: . Thanks to everyone in here for helping me in my decision. I'll be adding my experience to help the next person.

    Planned setup:

Front coils will be set to 2.5 to 3 inches of lift.
Rear 1.5 icon aal on TSB OEM springs (keeping the overload spring installed)
Alignment setting: camber 0, toe 0, caster +3 degrees.
    255/85/16R on stock Off-road wheels. (16x7" 5.25" backspacing)

Before and after measurements and pictures coming.

Just put them on 255/80/17 cooper maxx st. Way better than my toyo mts because they turn easier skinny and are no where as noisy
    [IMG]

with mud flaps on and lift is about 2.5-2.75 in the front, no spacers no UCA rub. No rub on anything after light trimming. Even stuffed them a good amount and trimmed some too. billies 5100 at 0 with OME 885x and 4 leaf pack with 1.5toytec aal in rear so 5 total leafs.
