With a 3" lift, I still had to do the CMC, and trim the fenders. I had 305/60r18 Terra Grapplers. (32.5x12.25). I imagine more aggressive 315s will need even more trimming.

The problem is that all other things are NOT equal. The lighter tires are much more susceptible to damage.

    “Better” is subjective.

So, its about compromise. Do you want the “look” of an off road tire, but value mpg over durability? Get a light tire. Would you sacrafise a bit of mpg for a tire that is less likely to fail while off road? Get an E rated tire.

@fatfurious2 I believe it is the 8x8 awning. I have it slid back a bit so there is good cover adjacent to the open tailgate when camping. It is definitely pretty big, but it is awesome when you're in the middle of nowhere and have some good shade cover - it is hot out here and sometimes natural shade isn't abundant.

Is there such a size as 255/80 16 ? 32” .I think that one inch at 255/85 33” would be a little too tall for my wheel well .

I am very excited to have more options, I was planning on getting ST Maxx for my next set since I am running them currently in 265s, but I like the design of the ridge grappler and that it specs slightly taller.

33.31 x 10.04 and 54.96 lbs for the ridge grappler
33.10 x 10.00 and 56.00 lbs for the toyo RT
    33.10 x 10.00 and 50.00 lbs for the toyo AT2

32.80 x 10.20 and 58.00 lbs for the ST Maxx

The AT2 could be a contender for my wife’s GX470, it has 265/70 terra grapplers on it now.

General consensus is that these tires fit stock no lift. Have people tried wheel spacers to widen the stance on stock wheels? Wondering if that's a bad idea. Was thinking half an inch to an inch
