Submitted my request for 255/85/R16 MT/Rs. I have the BFG KM2s in load range E right now, very happy with the size, but the sidewalls have not held up to the rocks out here. Multiple tears in the outer sidewall. Disount won't replace them until they pierce.

The sidewalls on my KM2's seem to be bubbling out a bit. Anyone else had that? Lots of weight on the front of my truck may have something to do with it.

I just asked for MT-R's. I'll probably buy 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 in the KM2 flavor.

I was a little curious and wanted to see what 255/85/16 or 255/80/17 Duratrac's would look like and so I did a little photo-chopping. I really want this tire...

So what you're saying is, it aint about the length, it's about the girth?

Yeah, messaged them about different sizes in both MTR Kevlar and Dura Trac. I was asking for 255/80r/17 and 275/75r/17 in both. Can't hurt all these requests, right?
Just dropped them another line looking for 275/80r/17's, a window popped up and asked me to fill out a survey, a very long question packed survey. I have an account with Goodyear and this survey asked some crazy questions, even about competitor tires. Filled it out with new size requests.

Can anyone vouch for the copper s/t for everyday driving and on the trail in this size? I have the kevlars now in 265 and I don't ever want to run a mud tire on the road in the winter. Just wanted to see if they are a good all around tire, kinda like how the duratrac is. But since no 255 in the duratrac is this tire comparable to some degree?

That is good to hear. The rocks out here are pretty hard on them, but htey have held up so far.

I replaced the gashed one just cause I was worried it would blow out if it were to flex the wrong way. When I got the replacement tire I saw how thick the sidewalls of these km2s are and was very impressed. Doesn't help much with weight, but its not like I'm driving a sports car when every pound counts. And I've written off mpgs a while ago...

Not sure how accurate that list is anymore, but it's a good start. I would check the manufacturers sites for more current offerings.

Also, not sure what your time frame is, but as mentioned elsewhere in this thread the Cooper ST Maxx should be coming in this size by Fall.

Yeah just scrolled a few pages back. Completed forgot about all this. I have some time, just wanted to get as much info before I pulled the trigger on a new set. Was hoping to get the coopers as my daily's and get the km2 for trial use once my kevlars wore out.

Thanks for the list. Have never came across that thread before. Well look into those manufactures.
