HAHA, Yea I was surprised too. Not a huge fan of the wheel design. Just like the fact that they are 19lbs. I think they will looks good on my super white tacoma.

Before you install them get a weight of the wheel and tire together if you don't mind.

From what I just read about them on EP they should be a nice tough tire.

The tires are 56lbs and rims are 19lbs. I will weigh to get an exact number prior to install

They will be tough. And better road manners than the km2 I'd think.

Those numbers are totally based on web specs. I will weigh everything individually and together and post results.

Doesn't look like they make the M-55 in a 17" version, was hoping to possibly try them out next go around.

Unfortunately already have 2 set of sport wheels. I need another set of wheels or tires like I need a bullet hole in the truck.

Got the suspension and tires done yesterday. So far the tires are much better than I could have hoped. They do how ever catch larger rocks very easily, the mid sized ones that are most common on forestry roads....

Being that they are mounted on 16x8's ( was in a pinch for wheels ) The side walls do buldge out a bit more than I would like, but all in all. The m55 are amazing riding tires. The ten ply tires will be more than enough for my needs and will likely last 60k km's. I may or may not run them in the winter, will report back when it snows again... In 3 weeks.

For those wondering on weight prior to install, I am very sorry but I was not able to get weights. But next time I remove a wheel I will measure that...which will be next weekend to retorque my ubolts and everything else.

Here are some photos of the truck and tires post lift.

They look like the 11r22.5's we use on the tractor trailers at work! Awesome! I should've held out for those. Oh well. I'm driving the km2's pretty hard. If the km's don't last long, the m55 will be my next tire.

Hey guys, first post. I've ordered a 13 double cab SR5 with a manual tranny and expect it at the end of the month. I have a set of 255's in my basement from my former Cummins. I've read about half of the pages and haven't found a definitive answer if the 255's fit a stock truck. The only offroad driving I do is across the lawn... So, do these fit a stock truck on the stock steel wheels? If not, is there a "guide" on what needs to be done to get them to fit?

you're gonna be rubbing on plastic at stock height, you'll want to lift 2-3" and maybe look into spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers if you plan on keeping the stock rims, if thats the only off roading you're gonna be doing, i'd just got with 265/75/16 tires and not worry about lifting

Wut , wheel spacers will increase the chance of this tire size rubbing (255) , not decrease it

or are you suggesting he add wheel spacers to 265's

    :notsure:

You will rub. The general consensus is at least a 2" lift.
