    You're welcome. I hope you enjoy your first shotgun! I personally prefer the gun to shoot point of aim. It's the "all around" set up. With practice, you can get used to any of them. Who knows what you'll end up preferring.

    Be forewarned, it's an addiction. Next thing you know, you're gonna be wanting one of each.

    I use a 26" for duck hunting, but only because it came with my gun. Most people use a 28", but I haven't really had any problems with the 26".

    I hunt with a 28" 835 and a 26" Charles Daly. I like both. I haven't used the CD enough to compare it to the longer 835 yet.
