Size (like everything) is also somewhat Load rating/model/brand dependent.

I’m happy with the 265 70 17’s, I’m doing a minimal lift and I did not want to trim, mold or a CMC so these work for me. 285’s do look good with a 3 inch though.

im assuming if you dont want to do any trimming, then for the type of offroading you do 265s will do just fine. enjoy!

Yeah nothing to rough, this is my daily driver I’ve done rocky trails but no rock crawling, maybe one day and after I get another vehicle I might. Thanks

    Sliders, 6112's, full skids.
265’s are very capable under an experienced driver. I found before I did the lift the most common place to get hung up was the front skid plate. Raising the front just 1.5” helped mitigate that. I found it was a pretty rare occurrence to drag the rear diff which is where 285s help. 265’s are definitely the way to go if it’s a daily. Retain mpg, power and handling!

Hands down, the sketchiest part of this truck is the front skid. Raising the front and rear a bit did wonders for me before I went to Moab. Once I did that I felt like I could go anywhere and I was on 265s.

Yeah here you go. For now 5100s/887 coils, dirt king UCAs, CMC, back is 5160 with HD Dakar’s and u bolt flip kit. I recently scored a brand new never used pair of rear 2.5 king remote reservoirs for 600. So that made me want to order the front kings to match but it’s a 44 week lead time .

How much lift did the 887’s give you up front after settling?

I went with 265/75/16 BFG All Terrain T/A KO 2's for my 2021 TRD Offroad. Just installed today, so no offroading yet. I have a 2" lift via Bilstein 5100's.

It did before I had the caster increased. But now, it’s rub free. I did a viper cut up front so no rubbing there.
