Just saw on Nitto website this size now available. Stock size for my 17 TRDOR, but can’t find anywhere that stocks this size. Discount tire doesn’t have it available on their website. Anyone know of someone stocking this size yet? Or is it just too new and I should wait for them to catch up.

I bought my Nitto’s from Discount Tire, different size, not stocked, ordered, but had them in 2 days.

I bet that Discount Tire would be able to order them for you. I've done that before with tires they didn't normally stock.

Glad I have waited a bit for these new lighter Nittos to come out, they a great tire. Also glad they decided to make the stock Tacoma OR size... they will sell like crazy.

Tirebuyer.com will have them in stock sooner than most places. They were the first place I found the 265/75R16 116T Ridge Grapplers at a decent price ($164.99 plus a 10% discount). $654.80 shipped/taxed for 4, then whatever your local shop charges for mounting... $150 is fair for TPMS swap, mount, balance... So you are probably looking at just over $800, if they cost same/similar to 265/70R16.

Give it a week or so and they should be available.

Whether or not you purchase through Tirebuyer, you can use them for price reference to get a better deal. Their best price is usually the best quoted price I can get from local tire shops, and they also show what your local shops will charge for mounting. Just put the items in the cart, apply the coupon code, and print the page or open it on your phone if the shop does not quote a lower price.

Not a passenger tire. It's a light truck tire, extra load. Not rated a C, so not 6 ply construction. However, for the weight of our trucks, probably just fine (116 weight rating vs 112 for the stock Goodyears).

The beefy sidewall lugs on this design will probably make up the difference for pinch flat and rip resistance vs. a C-rated tire.

The weight is only 2.5 ***a few*** lbs more per tire than the stock Goodyears, so they should not affect mileage or acceleration much at all.

(edited to remove a mistake caused by too much beer)

Aren’t the stock Goodyears 37lbs? Ridge graps in the same size are almost 47lbs.

I was thinking the stockers are 42 lbs. but that may be different construction than the 112's on our trucks. Still, you are correct. I was wrong about the weight difference. But I'm still OK with 47 lbs for that tire.

I just ordered a set of the 265/75/16 from tirebuyer.com for the exact price you listed. Couldn't find anyone else even close to this price. Winner winner, chicken dinner.

Just looking right now at nitto website and says Ridge Grapplers coming 5/1 in size 265/70/17 in 115T. Hoping this size will be similar to stock weight tires so not much loss in MPGs

Mostly I was just trying to stay away from the E rated tire to save on weight. Trying to maintain somewhat close to stock mpgs

Same. I just got the T4R rims as well with stock suspension. Want something light but no run.
