X3, 265/75/16's are 1" taller and should fit without rubbing.

^^ Don't even worry about it! It'll rub slightly on the mud flap only but you could always remove them. My Duratrac's rubbed when i upgrade to a taller tire as well.

I did exatly that last week and have no rubbing. I assume you meant kept the same wheels not tires. I like the BFG All Terrain tires sooooo much more than the BFG Rugged Trails. Note I had about 13K miles on my Rugged Trails and I was able to get Discount Tire to give me $50 credit per tire. Also BFG has a $60 rebate when you buy four new tires. :)

Now looking at your profile it looks like you have a three inch lift.

I put the lift on last weekend but I put the tires on a couple day's before the lift. From what I have read 265/75 16 is the largest tire you can go on the stock setup.

Okay then, I am going with 265/75 16 on stock aluminum rims, no lift, and as you all saying there will be no rubbing of the tire. Thanks for all your help

Before my 5100's @ 1.75" my new 265/75/16 BFG AT's rubbed the front fender wall and front mud flap at full turn. Now after the 5100's if i'm backing over a curb at full turn the front mud flaps get so lightly grazed that I do not consider it rubbing. They will rub at full turn with the stock billys/height to where you will need to trim.Discount tire pointed this out to me after "test" installing 1 front tire.I held off putting them on until the following week when the rear TSB and 5100's would be installed.Something to think about.
