Seems like it only does so at full lock and under some compression. I've only heard it pulling out of the driveway so far (tyres have only been on for a day) and at the end of the driveway there is a decent bump as I pull onto the street and at full lock.

Turned to full lock and looks like it would be the flaps, removed them for now.
Just not sure if I'll need to trim some plastic from there as well though.

If its not from that any ideas or if I do need to trim from the pic above?
I can't see it being UCA as many on here say 265 70 17 fits stock no rub...

Just cut that plastic off and you should be fine. It also looks like you have plenty of roon from the cab mount.

mine's only been going forward, nothing going reverse yet.

But 275, many say rubs. I went with the 265 so I can stick with a C rated and hopefully not rub.
I'll eventually go to 285, but still.

not sure but if I remember right its a +offset.

Which if I;m thinking right would make that portion of the tire a little bit farther in at full lock, meaning it would be past that bulge of plastic

Stock OR rim is 7" wide +25mm offset...

The combination of width and offset pushed your tire out 1".
The outside of the tire follows an arc; the further out, the greater the arc.

Also, I hear Duratracs measure a little bit bigger than other manufacturers.

Yeah I was under impression 265/70/17 (KO2 with TRD Selma Wheels) wouldn't rub with Stock Suspension and OEM mudflaps but they do in fact rub in the same location you have pictured. I've gotten used to it and I rather have it run the plastic flap vs wheel well.

I've mentioned this before, but i'll say it again. Toyota specs the OEM caster with 2-3 degrees of range. The more negative caster you have on your stock truck, the more likely it will rub with the K02/TRD sema wheel combo. That is why some folks have rubbing with stock suspension, and some don't. to fix, just visit your favorite alignment shop set your caster with 1 degree positive. You'll still be in OEM range, and no more rub.

Wheel it some more, you'll see the rub spots clearly soon enough.

Still trying to fully understand why people stuff the biggest tire they can find in there? For the vehicle to go over obstacles, wheels need to be able to move around, up and down, sometimes turn left and right. Seems foolish. Guess if you never Off-Road and just want the Big Truck looks to get a tickle in your pants, this must be it....
