Hey guys, I have a stock ‘21 off-road and am ready to get new wheels.

I’ve read conflicting reports about rubbing, but wanted to see if anyone has any other input for me.

wanting to run the OEM TRD pro wheels with the 4mm offset on 265/70/17’s. Will I rub at all? If so, is there a width that won’t rub?

I am really not well versed in offset so please bear with me, but will going up in offset such as 16mm create more or less rubbing? How does offset affect fuel economy?

thanks for bearing with me! Sorry if these are bad questions!

    Stuff.. but not much
You will NOT rub. I have 265/70/16's and had no issues before my lift.

265/70/17 is not a problem. I run 275/70/17 with no rubbing. The key is the narrow, smaller offset Toyota OEM wheels. They prevent a lot of issues with rubbing as long as you keep the tires smaller than 285/70/17, which in most cases do rub.
