IMG_8227.jpg Got an opportunity to get some 4Runner Trd off road premium wheels with 265/70/17 Bridgestone dueler for my sons 2005 access cab sr5 4x4. It’s bone stock, Will these fit w/o rubbing?

he needs new tires and thought these wheels would also update the look of his truck and the chrome complimented the grill and rear bumper for an oem+ look

    Thanks!!!

I just installed the same on my 2013 Tacoma and they only rubbed the front mudflap which I removed.

I can confirm it will fit. But like other say you rub a bit on full lock in reverse.

Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s 265 70R 17 and no rubbing whatsoever. Speedo off by about 2 mph at 65mph. Clearance gtg even with snow build up. Life is good.

Only slight rubbing on the flaps, but I removed the flaps shortly after upgrading to the 265/70/17 tires years ago, with no negative repercussions.

Most of the time they fit with no issues on factory wheels. Some aftermarket wheels may push the tires out wider and cause rubbing. Also 265 is the width of the tire in millimeters at the widest point of the sidewall. There is no standard measurement for the width of the tread. Even in the same size some will have a tread width that is wider than others. You just have to look at the manufacturers website to determine tread width.

Also, E rated tires will be slightly larger in diameter than a P or SL tire even in the same size.

Real happy with how it turned out and no rubbing. Ended up getting a set with no tires and got some Rocky Mountain AT 265/70/17
